Alles helemaal tiny
Interior design
About
me
Goodday,
Hey, I'm Fabienne, a Dutch designer with a passion for micro-architecture and furniture design.

I live with my 1,853 belongings (spullen) and 16 pieces of furniture in a 23 m² studio apartment in Zwolle, the Netherlands. Living in such a compact space comes with its challenges, especially since I love having a lot of things. However, I've grown to appreciate the efficiency of having everything within reach. My space is meticulously organized, allowing me to navigate my day quickly and effortlessly. My fascination for categorising and rearranging my stuff isn’t just a practical necessity; it’s a philosophy. I truly believe that living smaller can enhance our quality of life and reduce our environmental impact. A bigger house doesn’t necessarily mean a better life.
My Dutch heritage, known for its efficiency, resourcefulness and “eigenwijsheid” (stubbornness), deeply influences the way I approach my work. I'm drawn to the challenge of creating objects and sculptures that are not only functional but also playful, with multiple uses and endless possibilities. There’s always an element of change in my designs, inviting people to interact with them in creative and unexpected ways. While my designs prioritize practicality, they also encourage people to be imaginative with the spaces they have. For me, organisation isn’t just about tidiness; it’s about saving space and making room for inspiration. What drives me is the hope that my designs will help others be more efficient with their living spaces while still finding joy in the process. I want people to challenge themselves, to find delight in the practical, and to see the beauty in the tiny.

‘Alles helemaal tiny’ defines my work the best. I'm always trying to create something that is as efficient as it is esthetic. Which mostly become positive tiny products or spaces.

I'm really proud of my work/project and I hope you enjoy looking at it!
